The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released its 10-year employment projection report identifying the occupations expected to experience the highest percentage growth between 2023 and 2033. According to the report, Wind Turbine Technician is projected to be the fastest-growing occupation during this period.
Employment of wind turbine technicians is expected to grow by 60% from 2023 to 2033—significantly faster than the average for all occupations. The Bureau projects approximately 2,100 openings annually over the decade, driven by industry expansion as well as workforce turnover and retirements.
